Scope of Works:
- Demolition of existing terraced housing, removing constraints to enable expansion of the factory entrance.
- Liaison with Network Rail and Derbyshire County Council, ensuring coordination with external stakeholders and compliance with statutory requirements.
- Disconnection and diversion of existing services, enabling safe redevelopment of the site.
- Survey and redesign of the entrance road, supporting improved access, traffic flow and operational efficiency.
- Widening and reconstruction of the entrance road, providing increased capacity for vehicle movements.
- Demolition and construction of a new gatehouse, incorporating enhanced access control and security systems.
- Installation of security fencing, turnstiles, lighting, traffic signage and road markings, improving safety and site management.
- Installation of a 4m high x 20m long “living wall”, enhancing the visual appearance of the site entrance with a geometric planting design.
