The Opportunity:
Due to continued success, we are seeking an experienced Construction Health & Safety Lead to drive health, safety, and continual improvement across our construction operations. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will act as the company’s health and safety subject matter expert, working closely with project teams to ensure the highest standards of compliance, leadership, and safety performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the company’s Health & Safety Management System.
- Provide practical support, coaching, and mentoring to operational teams.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote best practice.
- Monitor H&S performance data and provide management reports.
- Support tender submissions and client health & safety requirements.
About You:
- Strong construction health and safety experience.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Practical knowledge of UK H&S legislation and construction best practice.
- Ability to build a positive safety culture and support operational teams.
- You need to be able to reliably commute to DE65 5GE or relocate before starting work.
