Scope: Refurbishment of an existing waste reception building:
Removal of existing asbestos cement wall and roof cladding, repairs to existing precast concrete structural frame, new insitu reinforced concrete “push-walls”, replacement cladding, new doors and a full mechanical and electrical fit out.
New Link Building:
Demolition of a redundant structure and construction of a new steel framed link building. This is to connect the refurbished reception building to an existing composting plant building. This then enabled vehicle movement streams to operate fully under-cover and with far more efficiency within the waste handling complex.
