- Working within a tidal dock environment, requiring careful planning around tidal movements to ensure safe and efficient delivery of works.
- Managing demolition while retaining existing structural elements, ensuring steel piles remained intact for potential reuse and future integration.
- Maintaining safe access and fall protection from the quayside, including installation of temporary fencing, handrails and floating access platforms.
- Operating within an active dock environment, requiring coordination with dock traffic and ongoing operations.

Scope of Works:
- Demolition of an existing ramp and jetty structure, originally constructed to support the offloading of supergrid transformers for National Grid.
- Retention of existing steel-encased piles, preserving structural elements for potential reuse and reducing environmental impact.
- Installation of temporary access systems, including handrailing, fencing and a floating pontoon to enable safe working within the dock.
- Management of marine working conditions, including tidal flows and active dockside operations.
- Undertaking structural testing to determine load capacity, providing critical data to inform future development of the site.
- Supporting the design and delivery of a new boat lift pier, including development of temporary works solutions for construction.
